A month-long campaign at Spinx convenience stores raised more than $130,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Spinx recently hosted the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of their newest Charleston area store on July 28th. The new store is located at 2160 N. Main St., Summerville and is the company’s 9th store in the market.
The neighborhood convenience store welcomed area-shoppers to enjoy in-store samplings, special deals, and activities to celebrate the occasion. This store, much like Spinx’s other new builds in Charleston, is a large format store and features a large fountain and slushy area, made-to-order smoothies, and of course, Spinx’s legendary fried chicken.
On Thursday, July 14th Spinx held their annual check presentation, were they donated the proceeds from the Annual Spinx Charity Golf Tournament to five SC charities. The ceremony was held at the Chamber of Commerce.
Spinx partners with non-profit organizations in South Carolina who focus on improving children’s education, health, wellness and moral growth. This year’s beneficiaries included Safe Harbor, Ronald McDonald House Carolinas, Harvest Hope Food Bank, American Red Cross of the Upstate, and American Red Cross of the Lowcountry.

The 2016 Spinx Charity Classic was held on Wednesday, May 11th at the Cliffs Valley and Cliffs Mountain Park courses. Spinx Run Fest is a marathon, half marathon, 10k, 5K and Kids Fun Run race that uses the beautiful city of Greenville as its backdrop. Runners will experience both flat and hilly stretches, cascading waterfalls, and cross the finish line on the home plate of the Greenville Drive at Fluor Field.
